We keep every session small so you get genuine hands-on time behind the machine. With a maximum of two students, Daniel can work closely with each person, demonstrate techniques, watch you practise and give you individual feedback throughout the session.

Take your skills into a real café
Your learning doesn't have to stop when the two-hour training session finishes.
After completing the training, students may have the opportunity to complete a practical shift at an Ariel's café, working alongside an experienced Ariel's barista. You'll experience a real café environment, serve real customers and see how the skills you learn during training are applied during an actual café shift.

Learn from the founder of Ariel's
Daniel founded Ariel's Coffee in 2015, opening the original Ariel's café in Warrawong. Since then, Ariel's has grown from that first café into a local café group across the Illawarra.
Daniel has spent years working with coffee, training baristas and building café teams. Now he is bringing that practical experience directly to a small number of students.
Certificate of completion
Students who successfully complete the relevant training requirements can receive an Ariel's Barista Training Certificate of Completion.
This is practical, hands-on barista training and is not a nationally accredited or government qualification. Practical café shifts and any future opportunity are subject to availability, performance and suitability, and are not guaranteed employment.
